Montessori Minds Childcare and Kindergarten (MONTESSORI MINDS PTY LTD) in Norlane (North Geelong), is seeking a full time Childcare Worker/Educator with the right attitude and passion for working with children with at 2-3 years of relevant experience and a minimum of a Diploma qualification or equivalent Education.

Tasks & responsibilities
As the Childcare Worker/Educator for Babies room and Toddlers room, you will undergo the following responsibilities and tasks.
- Care for babies and toddlers ensuring their safety, comfort, and emotional well-being.
- Create and run engaging activities that help little ones explore their senses, develop new skills and enjoy early learning experiences.
- Help with daily routines like feeding, changing nappies and settling children for naps.
- Observe and keep track of each child’s progress.
- Build strong, trusting relationships with children, families and colleagues.
- Keep the space clean and safe, making sure all hygiene and safety standards are followed.
- Encourage children to develop social and emotional skills.
- Ensure that records are maintained accurately for each child in care
Qualifications & experience
- An ACECQA-approved Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care
- Sound, practical working knowledge of the National Quality Framework and the Early Years Learning Framework
- A current and State relevant Working with Children's Check
- A current Anaphylaxis, Asthma, CPR and First Aid Certificates
- A passion for delivering quality inclusive childcare.
- Able to work in a team and lead a team.
- Good communication skills.
- At least 2-3 years of experience in highly relevant role required.
