Early Childhood Educator - Diploma Qualified Group Leader

Monash Community Family Co-operative (MCFC) is seeking an experienced Diploma-qualified Group Leader in one of our 8 place 0-2 year old groups, to replace a Group Leader who going on parental leave.

This is a Parental leave, replacement - expected to be 12-month duration. The expected start date is the first week of June 2025.

This position is for 4 days per week, although we will consider a 3-day per week placement.

MCFC, a Not-for-Profit Long Day Care Centre, has recently relocated to a stunning new service, located nearby Monash University Clayton Campus, at 11 Duerdin Street Notting Hill.

Role objectives include:

• To carry out the duties of a Group Leader with responsibility for the development and delivery of  a high-quality, developmentally appropriate educational  & care program for children attending MCFC

• Demonstrate leadership of a group in the delivery of the program including preparation of activities and the environment, general order, cleanliness and safety of the service and environment

• To work co-operatively as a member of a team, 

• Be actively involved in the development and implementation of the MCFC Quality Improvement Plan, Reconciliation Action Plan, and other programs within MCFC.
