POSITION OVERVIEW
We are looking for an outstanding Diploma (Room Leader & Educational Leader) to lead our team of committed and innovative professionals working with children aged 6 weeks to 6 years. This role is both on and off the floor (Off the floor is approx. 10 hours weekly).
This role has a face-to-face weekly support meeting with the Approved Provider.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the overall management, leadership, compliance and basic administration (no fees, financial or budgets) of the service, ensuring a safe, engaging, and supportive environment for both chn & staff.

ESSENTIAL
- ACECQA approved qualification of Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care
- Current ACECQA approved First Aid Certificate, Anaphylaxis and Asthma Management.
- Current ACECQA approved Child Protection. CHCPRT001 - Identify and respond to children and young people at risk.
- Current and valid Working with Children Check (WWCC)
- Current and Valid working rights in Australia
- Have a Christian Ethos
- Would like to learn more about Montessori and do some training
- Live close to Narwee NSW
EXPERIENCE
- Well-developed knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework, National Quality Framework & National Quality Standards
- Demonstrated experience in supporting curriculum development and documenting children's learning.
- Minimum of 3 years working experience in an approved early education and care service in a leadership role/responsibilities
- Experience and familiarity with the Assessment and Rating process.

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES
- Foster a love for learning & creativity among chn. through engaging activities
- Coach and Mentor educators & conduct regular performance evaluations and support professional growth
- Conduct/attend weekly staff meetings
- Ensure compliance with NQS, Legislation & Regulations
- Ensure staff & the service always comply to safety standards and govt. regulations
- Interact with parents and meet their needs and expectations, ensuring open communication & involvement
- Maintaining all routines & order
- Rostering and replacing sick/hol staff
- Orientation of new families
- Ensuring all policies are followed by every stake holder
- Ensure efficient use of resources
- Lead the planning and implementation of the educational program, which values a holistic view of each child’s development.
- Open to Inservice as applicable
