Early Childhood Teacher

The Early Childhood Teacher provides leadership in delivering high quality, inclusive programs within the Centre. You will have expert knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and relevant state based curriculums, child development and learning to lead the room’s education program and practice, as well as the Centres aim to meet or exceed the National Quality Standard.

Task & Responsibilities

• Ensures the development and delivery of a high-quality kindergarten education and care program
• Models effective intentional teaching practices in promoting quality learning environments and outcomes for Children
• Leads by example to support, guide and develop a strong positive culture whilst representing Green Leaves values and reputation in being a service recognized for excellence
• Is part of the key leadership team that assist the Centre Director in the successful operation of the centre
• Assist the Centre Director and 2IC in the Assessment and Rating process and working towards outcomes on the Quality Improvement Plan.

Qualification & Experience

• Hold an ACECQA-approved teaching qualification.
• Hold a Teachers Registration.
• Current Working with Children's Check.
• Current Anaphylaxis, Asthma, CPR and First Aid Certificates or willingness to obtain one.
• Current Child Protection Training or willingness to obtain one.
