Early Childhood Teacher

About the role

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Early Childhood Teacher to join our team at the Victor Harbor Childcare and Education Centre. This is a part-time role based in Victor Harbor, South Australia. As an Early Childhood Teacher, you will play a vital role in shaping the development and learning of the children in our care.

What you'll be doing

• Designing and implementing engaging, age-appropriate educational programs in collaboration with the team

• Providing a nurturing and safe environment that supports children's wellbeing and learning

• Observing and assessing children's progress, and using this information to guide planning and curriculum development

• Collaborating with parents and caregivers to support each child's individual needs and development

• Maintaining accurate records and documentation in line with regulatory requirements

• Participating in ongoing professional development to continually enhance your skills and knowledge

What we're looking for

• An ACECQA-approved teaching qualification

• Current registration as an Early Childhood Teacher in South Australia

• Experience working in an early childhood education setting

• Strong understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework and National Quality Standards

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with children, families and colleagues

• Creativity, flexibility and a passion for inspiring young minds

• Commitment to providing high-quality care and educational experiences

• A current Working with Children's Check

• Current Child Protection Training (or willingness to obtain upon commencement)

• Current Anaphylaxis, Asthma, CPR and First Aid Certificates (or willingness to obtain)
