About the role

As an Educational Designer, you will play a key role in designing and enhancing learning materials in collaboration with academic and research faculty. Your work will ensure that course content aligns with strategic and discipline-specific priorities, delivering an engaging and effective learning experience for students.

What we are looking for

• Act as the primary liaison between the allocated Discipline and the Online Learning Team.
• Develop and enhance subject content using student and academic feedback.
• Design interactive learning activities and contribute to subject development.
• Manage project deliverables for assigned subjects.
• Collaborate with Subject Matter Experts, academics, and external professionals.
• Build and test subjects within the Learning Management System (LMS).
• Develop storyboards, scripts, and educational materials, working with multimedia teams.
• Lead and contribute to special projects in online learning.
• Strong organisational, coordination, and project management skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities, particularly when working with academic experts.
• Ability to research, analyse, and apply educational design principles.
• Knowledge of interactive learning design and digital media for education.
• Minimum two years’ experience in educational design and development, preferably in higher education.
• Expertise in online teaching and learning principles.
• Proficiency with Learning Management Systems (Moodle preferred) and digital learning tools (H5P desirable).
• Familiarity with curriculum design, assessments, and educational technology.
