The Australian Electoral Commission is hiring staff to work for up to 2 weeks in early voting centres in late April/early May and in polling places on election day 3 May.

There are entry-level to leadership positions early voting centre and polling place jobs available before and on election day in your area. You could be giving people their ballot papers, assisting voters in a polling place, packaging materials or managing an early voting centre or polling place.

No electoral experience is needed as paid training is provided. You also get on-the-job support as part of the team delivering world-class electoral services in Australia.

The AEC’s role is to successfully deliver the federal election with the highest levels of integrity. To work at the election you must be politically neutral.
