Electrical Engineer (UPS Systems)

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated electrical engineer to join our team based in Seven Hills NSW. The technician will be responsible for providing project commissioning, testing, field repairs, and technical support to our customers.

You will be representing a global brand AEG Power Solutions, a reputable Industrial UPS product well known for its proven reliability and long product life cycles. Our commitment to quality and reliability has earned us a solid reputation in the market having completed many high profile and prestigious projects across Australia and New Zealand.

This full-time position will involve opportunities for growth and development, with guidance from a team with over 32 years of industry experience and opportunities to travel overseas for technical training. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Site testing and commissioning of UPS and power electronic equipment. 

• UPS repairs, servicing, and maintenance including battery systems. 

• Inhouse Testing & Configuration of UPS equipment.

• Managing projects and associated resources to deliver the project.

• Preparing project documentation and written service reports to clients.

• Identify and solve customer issues for UPS systems. 

• Customer training and technical support.

• Service sales follow up and lead generation. 

The Successful Applicant must have:

• Some exposure to power electronics (essential).

• Experience with AC and DC systems (desirable).

• Willingness to travel regionally & interstate.

• Good communication skills and attention to detail.  

• Project documentation and report writing skills.  

• A current driver’s licence. 

Salary Package: $100K-$120K + Super
