Role Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Engineering Draftsperson to join our dynamic team in a full-time capacity. In this role, you will be responsible for creating detailed electrical schematics and layouts for crane and hoist systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

Design & Drafting: Develop detailed electrical drawings, including wiring diagrams, control circuits, and power distribution layouts for crane and hoist systems.

• Collaboration: Work closely with engineers and project managers to understand project requirements and translate them into accurate technical drawings.

• Compliance & Standards: Ensure all designs adhere to relevant Australian standards, safety regulations, and industry best practices.

• Documentation: Prepare and maintain comprehensive documentation, including design specifications, installation guides, and user manuals.

• Site Support: Provide technical support during the installation and commissioning phases, ensuring designs are implemented correctly.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in electrical drafting, preferably within the crane or lifting equipment industry.

• Proficiency in AutoCAD and other relevant drafting software.

• Strong knowledge of electrical systems and Australian electrical codes.

• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in drafting.

• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
