About the role

This is a unique opportunity for a dynamic Electrical Project Manager with solid estimating experience to take ownership of project delivery and tendering. You'll be involved from the concept stage—producing accurate estimates and cost plans—right through to final handover of electrical projects in the industrial and infrastructure space.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives on variety, can think commercially, and is equally comfortable wearing a hard hat on-site and reviewing drawings in the office.

What You’ll Be Doing

·        Lead and manage multiple electrical projects from scoping to commissioning

·        Prepare cost estimates, tender submissions and budgets

·        Read and interpret electrical drawings, specifications, and scopes of work

·        Conduct site inspections, tender evaluations, and build subcontractor/supplier pricing

·        Liaise with internal engineering, site teams, and clients

·        Track project progress, manage risks, control variations and deliver outcomes within budget and timeline

·        Maintain strong client relationships throughout the project lifecycle

·        Mentor junior team members and uphold safety, quality, and compliance standards

Skills and experience

About you - what we are looking for:

·        Electrical Trade qualification or Electrical Engineering degree preferred

·        Proven experience in both electrical project management and estimation

·        Strong knowledge of industrial electrical systems and Australian Standards

·        Excellent attention to detail in tendering, pricing and documentation

·        Familiarity with estimating tools and project management software

·        Strong commercial acumen and a solutions-driven mindset

·        Highly organized with the ability to manage competing deadlines

·        Valid driver’s licence and Australian working rights
