All Stop Fire Systems was established in 2002 and have since been a provider of three core services, including consult and design, supply and installation for new construction, as well as testing and maintenance.

We are currently seeking an Experienced Electrical Fire Technician/ Fire Alarm Installer to join our team preferably in a team leader role, carrying out mostly installation works (not service or maintenance) to new construction. As we are a fire company, it is preferred to have experience in fire. We're looking for a highly organised individual, with a positive and solution based 'can-do' attitude, willing to work individually, as well as supervise a small team. 

Your duties would include -
  • Installing fire detection and alarm systems in accordance with the relevant Australian Standard.

  • Testing and commissioning dry fire services in accordance with the relevant Australian Standards.

  • May include programming of fire panels

  • Read and follow plans and instructions.

  • Use ladders and scaffolding.

  • Working in confined spaces.

  • Working at heights.

  • Will require working individually and as a team.

  • Following all WHS procedures.

 
Requirements -

Our ideal candidate will have the following experience, skills and qualifications:

  • You must have a white card (general construction induction card).

  • Minimum 3 years experience in Construction

  • You must have at least 1 year experience in the Fire Industry (in construction, NOT maintenance), whether it be as a Fire Alarm Installer, Programmer. etc. 

  • A drivers license.

  • Ability to follow plans, direct instruction and supervise a small team.

  • Knowledge of all relevant Australian Standards for the fire servicing industry, particularly AS 1670 and AS 1851.

  • You should be confident to work at heights.

  • Must have an understanding of WHS procedures and be able to follow them.

  • Possess a commitment to produce quality work.

  • Be an all rounder, willing to lean new skills and processes.

Additional items preferred, but not required;

  • Cabling License.

  • FPAS accreditation, not required but highly regarded.

This position is full time 40 hours per week with some weekly overtime at times when required.
