🔌 Electrical Fitter / Switchboard Fitter - Wakerley
Up to $50 per hour | Full-Time | Ongoing Work
We're on the lookout for an experienced Electrical Fitter / Switchboard Fitter to join our team in Wakerley, QLD. If you're hands-on, reliable, and take pride in quality work, we want to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities:
Assemble and install components in low-voltage switchboards per drawings and specs
Install modular enclosures, busbars, breakers, and control/power cabling
Wire and terminate cables in line with Australian standards
Perform testing and troubleshooting to ensure functionality and safety
Maintain compliance with WHS and quality standards
Keep work areas tidy and complete necessary documentation
Provide guidance to Apprentices, Trades Assistants, and Labourers
About You:
Trade qualified Electrical Fitter (or equivalent)
Experience in switchboard assembly and wiring
Confident reading technical drawings and schematics
Strong attention to detail and safety-focused
Team player with good communication
