Electrical System Technician

We are experiencing continued growth in Melbourne and has an opportunity for a Electrical System Technician to join our automation maintenance team.

We are eager to hear from candidates with experience in electrical work and fault finding, along with an electrical trades qualification.

About the role
Typical Responsibilities include

• Diagnostic tests on the automation systems.
• Follow maintenance plans to prevent equipment breakdowns.
• Troubleshooting malfunctions, faults, jams and breakdowns and performing the necessary repairs to restore full functionality.
• Diagnose faults and rectify communication issues 
• Schedule maintenance tasks on MEX.
• Monitor the SCADA System for error messages and material data.

Your skills & experience
To be successful in the Electrical Technician potion, you will need

• Electrical trade qualification
• Electrical Licence
• Experience with PLC fault-finding
• Experience working through preventative maintenance schedules
• Ability to work a rotating shift, 4 days on 4 days off.
• Requirement for a current and clear driver's licence.
• Ability to obtain an ASIC and airside driver’s licence (Applicable Airport locations)

Beneficial:

• Prior SCADA system experience
• Understand electrical design and diagnostic testing software beneficial
