Electrical Technician (No Experience)

Your role:As an Electrical Technician in the Army, you will gain skills in a wide range of technical areas. Your trade training is fully accredited with transferrable skills that will provide a trade qualification in the civilian community providing a broader scope for your future employment. You’ll learn to maintain and repair military systems and machinery, power generation equipment, maintain refrigeration and air conditioning devices and all portable and non-portable electrical appliances. Initial postings are usually to large Combat Service Support Battalions (CSSB) located in Brisbane, Darwin, Adelaide and Townsville. Subsequent postings can be to various locations and units throughout Australia. Salary: In the Army you'll get paid a good salary from day one regardless of your age, experience or qualifications. Upon commencing training, your starting salary will be approximately $56,385 per annum plus 16.4% superannuation and your pay will increase as you progress through training.On completion of your initial military training and initial employment training, you could earn $80,549 per annum plus generous super.
