Electrician

Oracle Industries Pty Ltd is a workshop located in Paget, QLD. We are looking for an enthusiastic, energetic, and reliable Electrician to join our team. We are an AS3800-accredited workshop and operate under a certified quality management system.  

We specialise in the following fields: 

• AS3800 overhauls for explosion-protected underground electrical equipment 

• IP equipment overhauls 

• Surface substation and switch room overhauls 

• HV Equipment overhaul and testing 

• Pre overhaul audits 

• Mine site introductions for electrical equipment 

• Electrical installations 

• Electrical drawing and design 

• Labour hire 

• Shutdown work 

• Supply of electrical equipment 

We are looking for a Workshop Electrician: 

Permanent (Full Time) Workshop Electrician. (AS3800 experience desirable but not a requirement)

What we require from you: 

·         Minimum 2+ years post-trade experience

• A positive work attitude 

• An ability to fault-find and problem solve 

• Electrical Trade Certificate 

• Experience working with Explosion Protected electrical equipment is an advantage (desirable) 

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team 

• Self-motivated with attention to detail and consistency 

• A current driver’s license 

• A proven record and demonstrated commitment to safe work practices 

• Ability to pass a pre-employment medical will be required 

Key Duties

·         Install and Maintain Electrical equipment for Mining and Industrial clients

·         Strict adherence to workplace safety and regulations

·         Strict adherence to quality standards, procedures and policies

·         AS3800 Overhaul of FLP enclosures

·         Basic computer skills required for recording of results
