Electrician

Alstom is looking for a Maintenance Technician - Electrical to join the team based in Rouse Hill.

Responsibilities

• You will be a part of Rolling stock team and be involved in both Mechanical (80%) and Electrical (20%) works.
• Conduct Electrical control systems component calibrations, fault diagnosis, maintenance and retrofit repair on rail equipment.
• Interrogation and diagnostic testing on equipment installed on the Sydney Metro System.
• Actively maintain and repair train equipment including safety procedures (preventive and corrective maintenance).
• Completing works in a fixed workshop and field service environment.
• Soldering, labelling, wiring and installation of new electro - mechanical equipment.

Your Profile

• Cert III in Engineering - Electrical (Mandatory)
• Maintenance Experience ( Preventative & Corrective)
• Australian Citizenship or working visa.
• Proven experience as an electrician conducting fault diagnosis, troubleshooting, reading schematics, and connecting switchboards.
• Strong understanding of PLC and SCADA systems would be advantageous.
• Excellent Communication skills.

Job Offer
