The Right Person Must Have:

• A current driver's license (essential)

• Electrical trade certificate (essential)

• Willingness to obtain a CEC Qualification (if not already qualified)

• Minimum of 1 year experience in solar or 2 years in residential electrical work

• A willingness to upskill and adapt to new tasks and technology

About the Business:

Prestige Renewables is a Mackay-based electrical company specializing in PV solar installations, residential maintenance, and general electrical work. We also offer expertise in air conditioning split system installations.

We are currently looking for a Qualified Electrician to join our Mackay team in a full-time role.

What We Need:

We're on the lookout for a versatile electrician who thrives in a fast-paced work environment. We value strong trade skills, knowledge, and adaptability to new technology and processes.

What You'll Do:

• Perform daily on-site solar installations and system commissioning, including loading stock, hanging inverters, commissioning systems, and walking customers through their setup

• Conduct residential maintenance and commercial installations, including electrical work and air conditioning systems

• Diagnose and rectify electrical issues, troubleshoot equipment, identify faulty components, and carry out repairs

• Ensure all work complies with electrical safety regulations

• Utilize mobile apps for job safety, installation management, and commissioning

• Collaborate with an experienced team to enhance job satisfaction and skill development
