Electrician

Start Date – April 2025.
Contract length - 8 Months Duration.
Location – Westall, VIC.
Pay rates - $59.34 Per Hour + Allowances + Super + Penalties.
Mon - Fri - Day Shift - 7.00am - 3.30pm 

2XM Recruit are currently supporting our valued internal rolling stock consultancy business unit in partnership with recruiting a Licensed Electrician to become a valued member of a rail train delivery modification team starting immediately.

You must be trade qualified with your relevant licenses and tickets. 
These positions will initially be appointed on a casual basis offering successful candidates secure full-time hours work. The project goes until end of 2025. 

Criteria.

• A Grade license - Electrical 
• Rail / rolling stock production workshop/depot exp
• Previous experience in a similar role would be desirable
• Solder sleeve experience & witness marking experience is desirable 
• Must be able to read / interpret workshop drawings
• Fitting and assembling components
• Reading of Schematics

Additional requirements:

• Pass a Rail CAT 3 Medical with LAB Drugs & Alcohol Screener.
• Australian federal police check.
• Commit to working on a zero / zero rail site.
• Australian fulltime unlimited working rights.

• $59.34 Per Hour + Super + Penalties & Allowances.
• $2.62 Electrical Allowance.
• $28 Daily Travel Allowance. 
• $25 Weekly Laundry Allowance. 
• Immediate start (April 2025).
• Contract length, 8 Months duration.
• Monday-Friday Day shifts of 7.00am-3.30pm worked.
