Electrician – Automation Equipment

Location: Redbank, QLD
Employment Type: Full-time, Monday to Friday (rotating shifts)
Pay Rate: $45.00 - $50.00 per hour + paid lunch break + overtime

An opportunity has become available for a qualified Electrician to join a growing automation maintenance team based in Redbank. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone with fault-finding experience looking to work in a structured environment with routine maintenance tasks and system monitoring.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform diagnostic testing and fault finding on automated equipment.
• Follow preventative maintenance schedules.
• Troubleshoot mechanical jams, electrical faults, and system errors.
• Monitor and respond to issues flagged through SCADA systems.
• Use maintenance software (such as MEX) to schedule and log tasks.

What You’ll Need:

• Current Electrical trade qualification.
• Queensland Electrical Licence (Contractor or Supervisor).
• Strong fault-finding skills on PLC-controlled equipment (basic level okay).
• Experience with preventative maintenance in an industrial or automation setting.
• Valid driver’s licence.
