Detector Inspector started in 2005 when our two founders, Jason and Jordan, recognised an opportunity to make a difference - we could help make homes safer for renters and make safety compliance easier for property managers. 

As part of our Electrical team, you will be conducting full safety inspections to ensure all electrical appliances and smoke detectors at our clients’ property are safe and compliant. 

What your day-to-day will look like:  

  • The night before each workday, you will receive a schedule on your phone that will assist you in managing appointments for the next day 

  • Conduct testing of electrical installations which include switchboards, power points, light switches, lights, electrical appliances including servicing of smoke detectors. 

  • Report findings via smartphone application - No paperwork involved

What you’ll bring to the role: 

  • Hold a Victorian Electrician’s A Grade Licence 

  • Valid driver’s licence and willingness to travel 

  • Domestic experience is preferred but not essential 

  • Professional presentation and self-motivated 

  • Strong customer and safety focus 

  • Familiar with smart phones applications
