The Opportunity
MiRecruit in partnership with PowerLink Solutions are currently recruiting for an Electrical Apprentice looking to kickstart their career with an Australian owned company that specialises in Building Management Consultant and Services (BMCS) solutions.

At the completion of the apprenticeship, you will become a qualified Electrician and earn a nationally accredited qualification, UEE30820 Certificate III in Electrotechnology Electrician.
Job Details
PowerLink Solutions work across a variety of industries including hotels and resorts, hospital and healthcare, industrial manufacturing, mining and high rise offices.
The role will initially be based in the Westmead area.
The apprenticeship involves assisting and learning from highly qualified tradespeople in areas including switchboard design and manufacture, commercial refrigeration and BCMS electrical work.
This is very much a junior role and will have you preparing materials, pulling cables, cutting brackets and generally assisting where needed on site as required.

About You
We are ideally looking for female candidates who are motivated, have good problem-solving skills and are dedicated to both learn and grow within this industry. If you have a Certificate II level pre-vocational qualification in the electrical field or have some related work experience this will be highly regarded.
Other requirements will include:
- Maintaining a high-level focus on safety following all safety processes and procedures
- Ability to confidently communicate in an effective manner
- Construction white card
- You must have reliable transport to and from work and preferably hold a current driver’s licence with P Plate minimum
- Ability to pass a Pre-Employment Medical, Drug and Alcohol Screen, and Police Check
