Electrician - Tower Crane Breakdowns and Maintenance

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Electrician to join our team at Titan Cranes and Rigging in Yatala, Queensland. As an Electrician - Crane Breakdowns and Maintenance, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and safe operation of our crane fleet. This full-time position offers the opportunity to work on a diverse range of cranes, applying your expertise to tackle electrical breakdowns and carry out essential maintenance.

What you'll be doing

• Diagnose and repair electrical faults in our crane fleet, working efficiently to minimise downtime
• Perform scheduled electrical maintenance and inspections on cranes to prevent breakdowns
• Liaise with crane riggers and other team members to understand and resolve electrical issues
• Ensure all work is carried out in compliance with relevant safety standards and regulations
• Maintain detailed records of all electrical work performed
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of our crane maintenance processes

What we're looking for

• Qualified Electrician with a minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar role
• Specialised knowledge and experience in the maintenance and repair of crane electrical systems
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills to quickly identify and resolve electrical issues
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
• Excellent communication skills to liaise with crane operators and other stakeholders
• Commitment to working safely and in compliance with all relevant regulations
