What the Job's All About?

An exciting permanent full-time opportunity has become available to join our Disability Employment Services (DES) team in the position of Employment Consultant.

This is an autonomous, standalone role working across two sites: Mordialloc and Clayton.  Daily buzz meetings with other team members and lots of training and support on site.

Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Supporting your participants into sustainable employment
  • Working with participants face-to-face and over the phone
  • Identify and address complex barriers to employment
  • Advocating for people with a disability to potential employers within your local community
  • Identifying job vacancies and match suitable participants from your caseload
  • Educate your participants on interview preparation and workplace expectations

What You'll Need to Succeed

  • Have full rights to live and work in Australia (with NO restrictions)
  • Have or willing to obtain a Working with Children's Check in the state you are working 
  • Agree for us to undertake a Criminal History Check
  • Current drivers' licence and access to own vehicle
  • Work full time 8.30am – 5.00pm
