Role Overview:
This is an exciting opportunity to join UnitingSA’s Executive Support team as our newest Executive Assistant. You will be responsible for providing executive administration support to both our Community Services and Property & Housing portfolio.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide timely and effective diary management by prioritising and organising meetings with internal and external stakeholders.
- Provide high level administration support to the Executive.
- Ensure all outgoing correspondence, reports, submissions and briefings align to corporate standards including formatting and naming conventions and are delivered to agreed timelines.
- Organising meetings, preparing agendas, minute taking and monitoring action progress.
- Maintaining a full understanding of the priorities being managed by the Executive including their involvement in various boards, general committees, associations and issues of interest to ensure that proactive support and information management is accomplished.
- Ensuring that the Executive is informed of important information in a timely manner and where necessary undertake research and make further enquiries to determine accuracy of information.
Skills & Experience:
- A Certificate IV qualification in Business Administration or related discipline and/or equivalent experience in a similar role.
- Demonstrable experience supporting senior management and executive teams
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
- Capacity to maintain a high degree of discretion and exercise sound judgement in dealing with sensitive and confidential matters
- Highly developed interpersonal skills and proven ability to build positive relationships and effectively communicate internally and externally
- Well-honed written skills with outstanding attention to detail
- Well-developed team work skills and the ability to build positive working relationships across the organisation
