About the Role:
This casual position offers flexible weekday shifts, with the opportunity for 24–32 hours per week. As an experienced Medical Receptionist, you will play a key role in supporting our General Practitioners (GPs) and Allied Health Professionals by providing both clinical and administrative assistance.
Key Responsibilities:
• Warmly greet and check in patients, including registering new patients into our system.
• Communicate with patients and medical professionals via phone and email in a clear, respectful manner.
• Handle various administrative tasks including filing, faxing, mailing, and labelling documents, letters, and medical results.
• Manage billing processes and payment settlements, ensuring accuracy and timely processing.
• Assist with Medicare batching and related administrative tasks.
• Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the practice space, including resetting and restocking consult rooms between appointments.
