At our Edithvale Family and Children’s Centre, our Centre Cooks are the kitchen heroes—keeping things running smoothly, whipping up deliciously balanced meals for little foodies, and making sure everything’s up to top-notch standards. They’re truly the heart (and stomach!) of our service!
We have the following position available:
1 x Permanent part time Centre Cook working Monday - Friday, working 32.5 hours per week on a fortnightly rotational roster
Week 1: 7am - 2pm
Week 2: 8.30am - 3.30pm

The City of Kingston operates three Family and Children's Centres in Carrum, Edithvale and Parkdale with our Edithvale Centre proudly holding an “Exceeding” rating under the National Quality Standard.

A bit about the role
The Centre Cook plays a crucial role in ensuring smooth operations of our kitchen spaces within our Edithvale Family and Children’s Centre. The Centre Cooks are the heart of the service providing nutritionally balanced children’s meals and a high level of kitchen compliancy.
