Field Service Technician - fitness industry

Novofit Pty Ltd is seeking a self-motivated and skilled Service Technician that is willing to work at remote based locations for field service dispatch.

This is a full-time position, working Monday to Friday (40 hours per week).

GENERAL PURPOSE OF THE ROLE:

NovoFit’s point of difference is our holistic approach to partnering with our customers and assisting in full solution design. The field service technician is responsible for carrying out preventative service, maintenance and repairs of the fitness equipment in our customers facilities and assist with new equipment installations. Forming an essential link in NovoFit’s Service chain, technicians are required to work closely with our Service team to provide timely, knowledgeable and best-in-class service to meet and exceed customer expectations every time.

The Service Technician is measured on overall customer satisfaction, first time fix rates and job efficiency. Reporting to the Service Manager, the Field Service Technician is responsible for:

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Diagnose and fault-find for operation, repair and maintenance of equipment machines
• Reading and interpreting field service manuals, technical plans and drawings
• Carry out inspection, mechanical maintenance and safety service and repairs of equipment machines
• Assembly and installation of technical equipment parts, components and controls
• Estimating machine part costs, quantities and maintain adequate and relevant spare parts supply 
• Performing function tests and calibration to ensure equipment and machinery are operating correctly
• Operate and coordinate daily schedules via our online platform
• Update our online portal with works status and completions
• Communicate effectively with customers
• Work collaboratively with the WA Service team
• Ensure that equipment is repaired and serviced in a safe and timely manner
• Always maintain compliance with the relevant OH&S requirements

• Adequate and relevant information maintained in Fitness EMS (online job management portal)
• Customer satisfaction
• Job efficiency rates
