The successful candidate will provide on-site technical support for the installation, maintenance, and repair of solar systems, batteries, inverters, and Victron systems.  This role is crucial to our business, as the quality of support provided directly impacts customer satisfaction and influences repeat business.

This full time role is mainly based in Artarmon, Sydney.  It is envisaged the Field Support Technician will be on the road up to 50% of the time.  A competitive salary, fully maintained company vehicle, mobile phone and laptop will be provided.

Key responsibilities include:

• diagnosing and resolving issues related to electrical systems, including solar panels, inverters, battery storage systems, and Victron products
• conducting regular inspections and preventative maintenance to avoid potential issues and ensure system reliability
• adhering to all safety protocols and industry regulations while performing on-site work
• overseeing and coordinating with external contractors to ensure timely and effective resolution of technical problems
• delivering exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries and concerns with professionalism and clarity
• maintaining detailed and accurate records of service requests, repairs, and maintenance activities

ABOUT YOU

To be considered for this role, you must -

• have an understanding of the Victron ecosystem, including remote configuration and troubleshooting of Victron products
• have experience working with batteries, inverters, solar systems, and Victron products
• have strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• have excellent organisational and administration abilities
• be proficient in managing and coordinating external contractors
• have exceptional customer service and communication skills
• be quick thinking with the ability to manage high-pressure situations
