FIFO Electrician

RMS Electrical & Pump Contracting is seeking an enthusiastic, hard working individual to join our small team servicing various WA mine sites. 

FIFO from Perth only, on a family friendly 8:6 roster with the occasional 2:1. 

Flights, accommodation and meals supplied. 

Tasks included but not limited to:

• Electrical maintenance and installing

• Equipment repairs and breakdowns

• Testing and tagging

• Conducting equipment routine checks and follow-ups

• Comply and understand AS3000 wirings rules

• Comply and understand electrical mining regulations

• Understand and comply with OHS standards

• General site maintenance and breakdown repairs

Applicant must be reliable, hardworking and versatile within the electrical trade as well as various other tasks. Mechanical knowledge is a bonus. A self motivated individual is essential for working unsupervised with targets to meet. 

Requirements 

• Current A Grade Electrical Licence held for a minimum of 2years

• Current C Class Drivers Licence

• Safe Working at Heights Course

• EWP Licence

• First Aid Certificate

• Police Clearance

• Able to pass a mine site pre-employment medical

• Able to pass regular drug tests and alcohol screening
