Minesite Recycling is a leading environmental solutions provider, specializing in the recycling of materials from mining operations. As we continue to expand, we are seeking experienced Material Handler / Excavator Operators to FIFO to our Leonora yard on a 2:1 swing.

Qualifications & experience

• Previous experience in a scrap metal yard is highly regarded

• Valid operator’s license and relevant certifications required

• Proven experience operating excavators and material handling machinery

• Oxy Cutting experience is highly regarded

Tasks & responsibilities

• Operate excavators and other heavy machinery to handle scrap materials efficiently.

• Load and unload scrap materials safely in compliance with company procedures.

• Assist in sorting and grading steel for transport.

• Maintain equipment, ensuring it is in good working condition.

• Adhere to safety protocols and contribute to a safe working environment
