Partner with business leaders to drive financial performance and strategic outcomes.
Our client is looking for a commercially minded Finance Business Partner to join a growing shared services function supporting a network of operational sites.
In this role, you’ll work closely with senior leaders to translate financial data into meaningful insights that shape business decisions. With a strong focus on budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis, you’ll act as a trusted advisor — helping to identify key revenue and cost drivers and guiding operational improvements across multiple regions.

This is a full time hybrid role, with four days in the office. Based in Ormeau. So come and join a collaborative, outcomes-focused finance team that plays a key role in shaping operational performance. Competitive salary and strong professional development opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver monthly financial reports and in-depth variance analysis, including root cause reviews of P&L performance.
  • Partner with General Managers to lead budgeting processes, ensuring realistic, achievable targets are aligned with business strategy.
  • Prepare clear and concise commentary for senior stakeholders, highlighting financial plans, expectations, and key performance insights.
  • Develop financial models and scenario analyses to support strategic planning and decision-making.
  • Collaborate with the Financial Controls team to improve accuracy and efficiency in financial processes and reporting.
  • Design tools and templates to enable self-service reporting and empower non-financial stakeholders with data visibility.
  • Deliver training to enhance financial literacy across operations and build stronger cross-functional engagement.
Skills and Experience
  • CA or CPA qualified, with a degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
  • Strong commercial acumen, with a background in financial planning, analysis, and business partnering.
  • Advanced Excel skills and experience using platforms such as Power BI, Concur, Navision, or Pronto.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a collaborative approach to stakeholder engagement.
  • Proven ability to work across multi-site operational models — experience in industries such as retail, franchising, or healthcare is highly regarded.
You must live in and hold the right to work in Australia to apply for this role.
