What does the job look like?

Join our dynamic team at Bevchain in Auburn, NSW, as a Finance Officer. In this role, you will play a crucial part in delivering weekly results for our core Retail customers. You will work within a highly collaborative team of Finance professionals, conducting financial accounting and reporting for each customer, managing revenue and cost recognition, billings, and supplier reconciliations. Additionally, you will support ad hoc administrative financial activities and partner closely with our Operations and Commercial teams to ensure seamless financial processes.

• Manage the weekly submission and approval of Kronos payroll data, complete daily and weekly transport reconciliations, and assist with the weekly and monthly financial close processes.
• Prepare and issue weekly invoices and supporting documentation to customers, ensuring everything is timely and accurate.

• Handle customer-specific P2P processing, including raising purchase orders, processing supplier invoices, and completing supplier account reconciliations.
• Assist in collating financial information for weekly auto accruals, prepare standard journals, and support key stakeholders with regular and ad hoc financial analysis and information requests.
• Drive continuous improvement through systems and processes, ensuring all process documentation for key activities is updated as needed.
• Support members of the Bevchain finance team with regular and ad hoc financial analysis and information requests.

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Commerce, Finance, or a related field.
• 3 years of experience in a Finance function, including roles in Financial Accounting, Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable.
• Experience in Transport & Logistics, Supply Chain, Retail, FMCG, Manufacturing, or similar industries is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with SAP or similar enterprise ERP systems, as well as Payroll Systems and Time & Attendance systems, is highly regarded.
• Ability to deliver accurate results and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong numeracy and reconciliation skills, along with excellent written and oral communication abilities.
