Financial Accountant Opportunity – Join Our Team in Blackburn, VIC (Full-Time)

Key Responsibilities:

• Performing and managing the month-end process including journals and account reconciliations

• Manage the preparation and lodgement of monthly BAS and annual FBT returns

• Maintenance of various company register including fixed assets, property, rebates and leases

• Liaise with external stakeholders including financial institution, auditors, and taxation authorities to ensure regulatory compliance

• Managing the workflow during the month to ensure a smooth and timely month-end process

• Other ad hoc duties as required

Key Selection Criteria:

• A tertiary qualification in accounting, finance, or a related field

• CPA or CA qualification 

• Strong knowledge of Australian Accounting Standards and regulatory compliance

• Experience with ERP systems (Pronto Xi highly desirable) and advanced Excel skills

• Minimum 5 years' finance experience
