Job Description Transforming financial data into actionable insights is at the heart of this role. As a Financial Business Analyst, you’ll influence strategic decisions through analytical excellence and play a key role in bridging the gap between finance and business operations. In this role, you will collaborate closely with business leaders to deliver insightful financial analysis, meaningful reporting, and strategic recommendations that guide decision-making. You’ll be responsible for developing robust financial models to support forecasting, budgeting, and long-term planning initiatives, ensuring that financial projections are both accurate and actionable. Monitoring financial performance will be a core part of your day-to-day, including identifying trends, analyzing variances, and highlighting opportunities or risks to the business. You'll also play a key role in supporting the development of business cases for major initiatives and investment opportunities, helping to evaluate their financial viability and impact. In addition, you'll be tasked with translating complex financial data into clear and compelling insights for stakeholders at all levels, using tools such as Power BI or Tableau. A continuous improvement mindset is essential, as you’ll contribute to enhancing financial processes and systems to drive greater efficiency and value across the organization. Qualifications Proven experience in financial analysis, business analysis, or similar roles Strong analytical skills with expertise in Excel, financial modeling, and data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) Experience working with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Workday) Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field (CPA/CA/CFA a plus) Additional Information Why join us: At NCS Australia, you'll be part of a team that values your growth and development.
