The Opportunity


A Financial Controller who is ready to take ownership of the finance function and elevate it to the next level. You'll be partnering closely with the CFO to manage the bottom half of the P&L, implement strong commercial controls, and manage robust systems and processes to support rapid growth. This is a pivotal role offering high impact across a multi-entity, high-volume business in the chemical and pharmaceutical manufacturing space.


Your responsibilities & duties

  • Full ownership of financial operations, including month-end close, reporting, compliance, reconciliation, and cash flow management.
  • Oversight of financial accounting, management accounting, and financial controls.
  • Lead the budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis processes.
  • Establish and improve internal controls and processes to strengthen compliance and governance.
  • Manage banking relationships, FX, tax compliance, and audit coordination.
  • Work closely with commercial, operations, and leadership teams to provide financial insights and business partnering.
  • Process development and system improvement to support scale and efficiency.
  • Support strategic initiatives, including financial planning for growth projects and business expansion.
  • Hands-on support across multiple entities.
Your skills & experience
  • CA or CPA qualified.
  • Proven experience in a Financial Controller, Commercial Controller, or similar senior finance role.
  • Strong technical accounting knowledge, ideally with experience in manufacturing, chemicals, pharmaceuticals, or FMCG and commercial sectors.
  • Excellent working knowledge of ERP systems and strong Excel skills.
  • Hands-on and solutions-focused, with the ability to dive into detail while maintaining strategic oversight
  • Highly collaborative, resilient, and adaptable to a dynamic, growing environment
  • Strong leadership and stakeholder engagement skills.   
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work autonomously.
