Fire and Security Alarm Field Technician

Job DescriptionJob Description Job Summary: We are seeking a full-time Fire and Security Alarm Field Technician to join our dynamic and growing team! In this unique role, you will travel to various locations and job sites, installing or repairing various residential and commercial fire and security systems. This may also include locks of all types, access control, CCTV, and more. The ideal candidate has a low-voltage electrical license, experience with commercial and residential fire and security installation or similar electronic products, strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, and analytical thinking. Responsibilities Travel to various locations in Maine and New Hampshire and independently service, inspect and troubleshoot basic and complex fire and security alarm systems. Identify risks to customers and provide effective solutionsAs a part of a small team, install new fire and security systems, electronic locks, access control systems, CCTVs, and moreAttend weekly team meetingsMaintain appropriate equipment and restock vehicle and supplies as neededMaintain thorough and accurate logs of work completed at all timesCommunicate and coordinate with co-workers, customers, builders, and office staff to achieve daily workload goals Qualifications Current low-voltage electrical license with industry experienceKnowledge of NFPA72, NEC, and Industry standards for fire alarm installationStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsStrong communication and listening skillsOutstanding attention to detailExcellent work ethic Benefits/Perks At American Security Alarm, Inc., we have created a team-focused culture in which everyone is valued and respected.
