Fire Panel Technician

The Role

As a Fire Panel Technician with BGIS, your role is integral to the safety and security of our people and key clients. You are responsible for keeping our fire protection equipment and systems in good working order and ensuring compliance with Australian Standards.

Due to the security clearance required for this role, you must be an Australian Citizen.

• Fault finding on various fire systems, networks and access control systems

• Installation and replacement of Fire Alarm Panels and Systems and associated components

• Assist in the preparation of customer quotations & identifying remedial work

Skills & Experience:

- Experience working with fire panels and ability to install, test and repair fire systems/equipment

- Understanding of Australian Standards such as AS1851 and knowledge of fire safety codes/regulations

- White Card

- Driving Licence

- Electrical Trade Licence (desired)

- Accreditation with FPAS (Fire Protection Accreditation Scheme) would be well regarded.
