ABOUT THE ROLE

The key purpose of this position will be to continue to develop, implement and evaluate the NSW Ministry of Health’s Aboriginal cultural training framework including the Respecting the Difference (RTD) Program. The position’s role in the organisation is to enhance the ability of staff across NSW Ambulance to improve service delivery through positive changes to practice, particularly when interacting with Aboriginal people as colleagues, patients and visitors. The role will work with the Senior Manager Learning & Development and the Senior Manager Diversity & Inclusion to implement options to support the roll out and delivery of the updated training package.

As internal consultant, the position will liaise with the Education team, managers and senior executive to identify learning opportunities and develop resources including a variety of modes of delivery e.g., face-to-face, online, blended delivery and self-directed approaches.
