Fitness Membership Reception/Sales

Hiscoes is a full-service gym that has been part of the Surry Hills Community for nearly 45years. People love the family atmosphere and many of our staff have been with us for years. If you are keen to work in the fitness industry, love a varied role and are a people person, then this is the job for you.

This is a permanent position, approximately 15-20hrs per week including evening and weekend shifts. Initally casual, permanent part time will be offered to the right candidate. We are looking for an energetic personality who enjoys responsibility and can work well on their own, as well as part of our friendly team. Main duties include membership sales, assisting member inquiries and office administration duties.

Sales experience is preferred and a good phone manner is essential. Cert III in fitness a bonus. Preference will given to candidates with experience or qualifications in the industry and an interest in producing social media content would be looked upon favourably.

This a sales role and salary will be hourly plus commission so if you are keen to sell there is the opportunity to make $$. Commission is paid monthly plus quarterly bonuses if targets are met. This is a great opportunity to learn about running a gym and help us grow our business.
