ABOUT THE ROLE:
As a Fitter and Turner/Machinist, you will join our highly skilled team, committed to safety and a strong workplace culture. Your primary responsibilities include manual machining operations such as drilling, tapping, broaching, milling, lathe work, welding, and fabrication.
Essential Criteria:
A relevant Australian-recognized trade certificate - Cert III or above.
Previous experience performing manual machining operations such as drilling, tapping, boring, broaching, and conventional milling and lathe work using various engine lathes.
Sound understanding of materials and manual machining operations
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, plans and diagrams
Experience working with electric motors, generators and fixed plant equipment
Australian Citizen or permanent resident
Desirable:
Experience in a similar workshop environment
