ABOUT THE ROLE:

As a Fitter and Turner/Machinist, you will join our highly skilled team, committed to safety and a strong workplace culture. Your primary responsibilities include manual machining operations such as drilling, tapping, broaching, milling, lathe work, welding, and fabrication.

Essential Criteria:

• A relevant Australian-recognized trade certificate - Cert III or above.

• Previous experience performing manual machining operations such as drilling, tapping, boring, broaching, and conventional milling and lathe work using various engine lathes.

• Sound understanding of materials and manual machining operations

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, plans and diagrams

• Experience working with electric motors, generators and fixed plant equipment

• Australian Citizen or permanent resident

Desirable:

• Experience in a similar workshop environment
