Fleet Assistant

Butler Freight Services is a privately owned Transport and Warehousing business located in West Melbourne.

Our fleet utilises approximately 140 prime movers per day and comprises combinations of 15 Super B -Doubles, 20 B-Doubles, 16 Sideloaders, over 80 retractable skels, tautliners and in excess of 110 general trailer combinations.

We currently have an opportunity within our Operations Department for a Fleet Assistant on the PM Shift. Please note that this is an entry level role.

This is a Sunday to Thursday Role and the hours are circa 5pm to 1am.

The main duties of the role are as follows - 

• Learn all aspects of transport operations / build your career and grow with the business
• Support fleet controllers and serve drivers / allocate jobs
• Check runsheets and MDT usage
• Cover leave of Fleet controllers
• Must have a willingness to learn
