The Fleet Programs Change and Communications Manager is primarily responsible for managing change and communications associated with Fleet Programs activity, being the Entry-Into-Service (EIS) of aircraft types that are new to Qantas Airlines including A321XLR and A350-1000URL. This role provides expert change management advice and leads the change portfolio as well as being responsible for setting the internal communication strategic direction, in consultation with the Group’s corporate communications teams, and delivery of communications in a dynamic, fast paced environment. You will work very closely with the Fleet Programs leadership team, key teams within the operational business units as well as other internal and external stakeholders across all levels of seniority.
You’ll have –
10+ years’ experience in employee and stakeholder communications and/or change management roles.Aviation or large infrastructure project experience preferredDegree qualifications in Change Management, Project Management, Business or Communication highly regardedPassion for solving problems and delivering solutionsDemonstrated ability to translate strategic business issues into effective communications within a large organisationStrong and confident stakeholder management abilityStrong verbal, written and presentation skillsStrong research skills with the ability to articulate this informationProven interpersonal and relationship development skills with a flexible and collaborative approachAbility to understand and translate strategic business issues into effective communicationsKnowledge of the Industrial Relations framework, its application to the business unit and issuesBroad knowledge of Qantas Group and the business unit cultural dynamicsAviation industry knowledge
