Swissôtel Sydney, part of Accor’s hotels, have an exciting opportunity for a passionate and motivated leader to join our team as Floor Supervisor for Arches on Market (Bar).
Reporting directly to the Venue Manager, you will ensure that our guests and patrons have a truly memorable experience during their time at Arches.
This role requires the availability to work a rotating roster including late mornings, late evenings, week days, weekends and public holidays.
Responsibilities and duties (but not limited to):
Contribute to the operations of the full venue and provide support to the Management team to effectively operate the venue.
Ensure efficient, friendly and professional service is provided to all guests, in house and external
Adhere to all Standard Operating Procedures for all aspects of the venue
Allocate and monitor all reservations and manage the door during service periods
Maximise seating times and allocations through multitasking and great communication between the management team
Responsible for processing financial transactions and closing procedures as per company standard
Supervisory experience within in a similar large busy environment, with a thorough knowledge of food and beverages
Demonstrated ability in planning and resourcing people and products, performance management and controlling labour costs and operating expenses
Lead the team of food and beverage attendants in all areas such as; operations, employee engagement and training & development
Adhere to effective beverage stock management processes including ordering, receiving, storing (cellar management) and rotations.
Drive the execution of excellent guest experience, product and presentation standards
Ensure legal and compliant requirements of the bar operations are adhered too.
About You
Supervisory experience within a similar large busy environment, with a thorough knowledge of food and beverages
The ability to demonstrate and deliver luxury service
Valid Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) competency card
Acts with integrity and shows care and support
Strong product knowledge of premium food and beverage offerings
Exceptional guest service skills with a proactive attitude and natural ability to communicate effectively with a diverse range of guests
Highly organised and eager, with a high attention to detail
Well Presented and professional with a personable approach
Possess full time work right in Australia
