Floor & Wall Tiler

We are located on the Northern Beaches of Sydney. However, our clients are located all over the Sydney area so a driving licence is essential. Our main focus is complete start to finish bathroom renovations, however, we also renovate pools and homes.

Our tiling jobs are varied. Our tilers need to be precise and experienced. The main duties and responsibilities will include tiling, grouting and screeding of bathrooms, splash backs, pools and external areas. The applicant should be able to calculate the quantity of materials and square meters of tiles required for specific areas. They will need to be able to work with all tiles and mosaics as well as natural stone. The successful candidate will also need to be able to work independently as well as within our team of builders, plumbers and electricians.

Task & Responsibilities

Examine plans, measure and mark surfaces, and lay out tiling work

Use accurate measurements to calculate and order required materials

Prepare wall and floor surfaces by removing old tiles, grout, and adhesives

Repair surface imperfections by filling holes and cracks

Clean and prepare surfaces before applying adhesives

Lay tiles in position with attention to alignment and spacing

Cut and shape tiles for edges, corners, and around fittings or pipes

Grout and clean tiled surfaces, ensuring a high-quality finish

Apply waterproofing systems in accordance with industry standards

Applicants must be able to safely and competently use:

Trowels, scribes, sponges, drills, levels

Diamond saws and tile-cutting equipment

Other standard tiling tools as required

Qualification & Experience

Pervious experiance essential and to be able to work deligently both alone and in a team.
