Florist and Customer Service Specialist

About the role

We are seeking an enthusiastic and creative Florist and Customer Service Specialist to join our team at Whiting Flowers T/A Flawless Flowers' in Melbourne, VIC. This part-time role will involve assisting customers with their flower arrangement needs, as well as hands-on floral design work. As a key member of our close-knit team, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional customer service and creating beautiful, unique floral pieces.

What you'll be doing

• Providing outstanding customer service and order fulfilment

• Designing and creating bespoke floral arrangements and bouquets

• Maintaining the presentation and stock levels of the retail floor

• Assisting with the daily operations of the shop, including sales, inventory and general housekeeping

• Attending to customer inquiries and special requests in a friendly and professional manner

• Collaborating with the team to ensure the smooth running of the business

What we're looking for

• Relevant experience in a customer-facing role, preferably within the floristry industry

• Strong floral arrangement and design skills, with a keen eye for colour and detail

• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to provide exceptional customer service

• A passion for the floristry industry and a desire to learn and grow within the field

• Reliable, organised and able to work both independently and as part of a team

• Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and public holidays
