Food & Beverage Golf Cart Attendant

Magenta Shores Golf & Country Club is seeking an enthusiastic and service-focused individual to join our team as a Casual Food & Beverage Golf Cart Attendant. This is a dynamic, on-course role ideal for someone who enjoys working outdoors, delivering exceptional customer service, and being part of a supportive and professional team.

This is a casual position, with regular shifts on Saturdays and Sundays from 8:00am to 3:00pm, and occasional shifts on Wednesdays, depending on operational needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Serving Food & Beverages: Prepare and serve drinks and snacks to golfers on the course.

• Customer Service: Deliver a friendly, efficient experience to Members and Guests throughout their game.

• Cart Management: Safely drive and maintain the cleanliness and presentation of the food & beverage golf cart.

• Order Taking & Payment: Accurately take orders, handle cash/EFTPOS transactions, and provide correct change.

• Inventory Management: Monitor stock levels and communicate with team leads regarding low inventory or high-performing items.

• Safety: Operate the cart safely and in accordance with Club safety protocols.

• Course Knowledge: Be familiar with the layout of the course and location of amenities to assist golfers as needed.

• Cleaning & Maintenance: Maintain cleanliness of the cart, utensils, and work area during and after shifts.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Valid NSW Driver’s License (required)

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Excellent customer service and a positive attitude

• Basic maths skills for cash handling and inventory tracking

• Food safety knowledge (certification preferred but not essential)

• Physically fit and able to be on your feet for extended periods

• Flexible availability, including weekends and occasional weekdays

• Knowledge of golf operations would be advantageous but not essential
