• Expected salary: $77,380 - $77,500 per year

We are searching for a Catering Supervisor to lead the kitchen team in conjunction with the Catering Manager. You will work 1100-1900 Monday to Friday preparing dinner service and to manage the PM shift catering team.

Responsibilities:

·         Prepare meals as per seasonal menus, ensuring food is prepared fresh and on time

·         Monitor presentation of meals and provide guidance and training to kitchen staff and carers where required to maintain high standards of presentation

·         Provide training and guidance on dinner service as required

·         Take ownership of collecting and inputting menu choices by residents into Simple

·         Monitor tray service for quality and accuracy

·         Maintain safe and hygienic operation throughout total dietary and catering services

·         Clean kitchen equipment and other food service areas and maintain to established standard and schedules

·         Management of catering operations when the Food Services Manager is on leave

About you:

·         Experience cooking high quality meals in an aged care setting

·         Cert III in hospitality highly regarded

·         Experience with accreditation and the compliance requirements

·         Aged care or hospital experience

·         Leadership skills

·         An effective communicator who isn’t shy to suggest new ideas and challenge the way we do things

·         A current police or NDIS check
