Foreman

Design & Build are currently working with a Commercial Construction Company who are looking for a Foreman for commercial fit out projects in around Sydney Metropolitan area. 

Roles and Responsibilities of the Foreman can include:

• Conducting site inductions for staff and sub-contractors
• Manage and lead site teams including trades and subcontractors.
• Monitor progress and provide regular reports to the Site and Project Managers
• Managing cost control for certain aspects of the project, as directed by the Site Manager, in order to ensure the project meets its required performance targets in relation to budget
• Maintain positive industrial relations with authorities and unions, resolving any issues in accordance with the client's guidelines.
• Ensure compliance with project specifications, safety regulations and quality standards

To be considered for the role of Foreman you will require:

• Trade background
• Demonstrable experience on commercial fit out projects
• Proven experience of effectively manage a team including sub-contractors, in a professional manner and ensuring longevity of relationships.
• Good understanding of health and safety legislation and requirements, has proven experience of effectively controlling site safety
