Your new role - Import Operations

• Accurately inputting job registrations within internal databases in a timely manner (within KPI time frame).
• Import cargo automation lodgment, including but not limited to lodging manifests, reporting, and under bond movements to Customs.
• Liaising with customers on all import queries, including guidance on import documentation.
• Liaising with overseas office/agents and interaction with Shipping Lines, other Co Loaders, Airlines, and unpack depots/terminals.
• Updating and assisting customers with any issues, queries, or delays that may have occurred in a timely manner.
• Assist with job costings and invoicing, ensuring accurate and timely invoices are sent to customers within the required time frames.
• Assist with ensuring all vendors' invoices are correct and approved (posted) within the required time frames.
• Adhere to legal rules and guidelines and be a role model for all policies and procedures.
• Maintain the company culture, brand, values, and code of conduct.
• Perform any duties as requested to assist the owner, business manager, or operations manager.

What you'll need to succeed

• Min 1-3 years experience in international Freight Forwarding including Import Freight Operations
• Import Operations experience
• A great can-do attitude, superior communication and liaising skills coupled with relevant import air freight experience ideally within the international freight forwarding industry
• Exposure to industry software and proven excel skills would also assist your application.

• Microsoft office experience (Outlook, Excel)
