Full Time Chef

Midnight Mocha Cafe is a busy Cafe in Phillip, ACT  and is currrently looking for a Qualified Chef to wortk in its Cafe. 

DUTIES
• Preparation, seasoning and Cooking of high-quality food items from the menu.
• Cooking such as grilling, roasting, steaming, poaching, deep frying and pan frying.
• Monitoring portion and waste control.
• Helping in menu planning and creating new menu items including specials.
• Ensure all preparation done on time.
• Maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment.
• Ensure compliance with food hygiene and safety regulations.
• Report repairs and maintenance issues to manager.
• Assist manager in monitoring and purchasing food and supplies.
• Managing kitchen staff including training.
• Collaborating with the other chefs and manager to enhance customer satisfaction.

REQUIRED SKILLS
• Qualification Certificate IV or higher in Commercial Cookery
• Minimum 1 year Full time experience in the similar field
• Full time Work rights
• Liquor Licensing and Food Safety Certificate
• Personal Hygiene and presentation
• Excellent Communication Skills
• Manage time and prioritise tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Punctual and Reliable
